Cookie Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

This page explains the cookies and similar technologies used on gulfgrowthads.com, what each one does, and how to control them. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers how we handle personal information more broadly.

01What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. It lets the site remember something about your visit — that you’ve been here before, how you found the page, or that an ad you saw led you here. Cookies can’t run programs or carry viruses, and most only last for a set period before expiring.

02Categories we use

Essential

Always active

Set by WordPress to keep the site functioning — page navigation, form security, and basic session handling. The site cannot work properly without these, so they cannot be switched off.

Analytics

Optional

Google Analytics, so we can see which pages are read, how visitors move through the site, and where traffic comes from. This helps us improve the site — it does not identify you personally in any report we look at.

Advertising

Optional

The Google Ads tag and the Meta Pixel. These tell us when someone who saw one of our ads later visited this site or submitted a form, and let us show our ads to people who’ve visited before. See section 4 for more detail.

03Full cookie list

The exact cookies set can change as Google and Meta update their own systems, but this reflects what’s currently in use:

04Advertising cookies explained

Because we are an advertising agency, it’s worth being direct about what these do. The Google Ads tag and Meta Pixel let us measure whether the ads we run for our own business actually lead to a genuine audit request — without this, we’d be spending on advertising with no way to tell what’s working.

They also enable retargeting: if you visit this site and leave without submitting the form, you may later see a Gulf Growth Ads advert on Google or Meta’s network. This is standard, industry-wide behaviour, not something unique to us, and you can opt out of it at any time — see section 5.

05Your choices

Turning off non-essential cookies will not stop you using this site — you can still browse and submit the audit form. Some measurement on our end will simply be less complete.

06Other tracking technologies

Alongside cookies, the tags above may use similar technologies such as pixels and local storage to achieve the same purpose. Where this policy refers to “cookies,” it includes these unless stated otherwise.

07Changes to this policy

We may update this page as the tools we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we add a new tracking technology that materially changes what’s collected, we will update this list rather than leaving it silently out of date.
